Interview with Tomm Moore, Oscar nominated director of animated films “Secret of Kells” and “Song of the Sea” – RubberOnion Animation Podcast #121

tomm moore interview about cartoon saloon secret of kells song of the sea indie animated film production in ireland and more on episode 121 of the RubberOnion Animation Podcast with Stephen Brooks and Rob Yulfo

We got to talk to 2-time Oscar nominated director Tomm Moore of Cartoon Saloon about comics, superpowers, animation, tattoos and producing Indie Animated Films! This show has a couple of my favorite stories (Miyazaki smoke-break, TMNT desks, and The Living Shadows) and was all around just a blast of a time recording the show. There’s a lot to learn about the mentality and approach needed to get into the Indie animated filmmaking game and he gives some fun behind-the-scenes tidbits along the way.

Also, remember all those questions you posted on my facebook page?… yea he answers every single one of them! Don’t forget to check out the topics & timestamps below. Thanks for listening/supporting and enjoy the show!
