Heroic Clash XR is a part of My Hero Academia Heroes Clash Set!
The MHA CCG amassed a massive audience in the past year, and rightfully so. It has some fantastic cards in its portfolio, and the publishers show no sign of stopping or slowing down. The second expansion, Heroes Clash, is a testament to this fact.
Not only are they releasing significant expansions regularly, but they’re also reinventing and trying new things. The Chrome Rare cards are an example of this. These cards are exclusive to the first edition of the Heroes Clsh set, and there will only ever be 100 of these cards.
Apart from the Chrome Rares, the set also features fabulous cards, like the Heroic Clash XR. It has some of the most popular male characters from the show, and because of this, it has been doing great numbers across reseller sites. So today, we decided to shed some light on the card so that you know whether or not to invest your money in it!
So without any future ado, let’s get right into it!
Class 1-A of UA High School is probably the most powerful in the entire country of Japan; they are the first division in the most elite Hero School.
The Heroic Clash XR features students as such: the protagonist, Deku, Bakugo, Shoto Todoroki, and Kirishima. These four are probably the most robust males from their class, and they can bring down even the most elite-level villains together.
The heroes on this card are all available in a Chrome Rare form in this set. This goes to show how popular these characters are. The only hero excluded from this card was Tenya Ida, who also has a Chrome Rare.
The illustration is the main selling point of this card. The heroes are seen coming out to bust some villain, and judging by the looks on their faces, the villain’s fate seems clear.
The background of the card is also in line with the aesthetic of the MHA anime. This adds more cohesion to the CCG with the main anime, which is always good.
As of writing this blog post, the card has been selling consistently for around $40-50 across multiple reseller sites. So you can expect it to keep doing the same in the future of we don’t get any reprints.
