Tangled Grasp is literally Biollante wrapping Godzilla up like prey and if you are there its over. This card captures one of the creepiest kaiju moments ever put on cardboard and I love it.
Illustration Breakdown
This is Biollante in full nightmare mode.
Her massive crocodile like maw is wide open, rows of jagged teeth layered inside each other, green venom dripping between them. The vines coil around Godzilla’s body, tightening like constrictors. You can almost feel the pressure.
The background is pure destruction. Explosions bloom behind them, debris flying, the scene tilted just enough to feel unstable. The sound effect screaming across the top adds that classic comic chaos energy.
Biollante has always been one of the most unsettling kaiju. She is literally a genetically engineered hybrid made from Godzilla cells and plant DNA. That unnatural origin makes this art hit harder. This feels inspired by the Heisei era brutality where fights were more savage and less playful.
This is not just a fight. This is suffocation.
Gameplay Integration
From what we can see, Tangled Grasp is a Blitz Throw attack that gains speed for each face down card in your card pool.
That fits Biollante perfectly. The more you build and commit, the tighter the trap gets. Speed scaling plus Throw means even if they block it, they are still taking damage.
It rewards setup heavy turns and punishes hesitation.

Opinion
This is insane in the best way.
Biollante is literally body horror kaiju and this card nails it. I love how oppressive it feels. If she gets you, its over.
