And that’s exactly the mood this art leans into—quiet danger. Not explosive chaos, not cartoon villainy, but the kind of calm that comes right before something burns.


Illustration Breakdown

Framed dead-center, Annie stands statue-still in her violet and black getup, a stuffed Tibbers cradled in one arm like a familiar she’s not ready to let go of.

She’s just… sitting there, waiting, recharging. It captures the calm before the fire—the same way the mechanic waits until turn’s end before kicking in.

She’s the kid with her hand off the trigger but her thumb already resting on the rune.

Dark Child from Riftbound TCG is card 017/024 in the OGS subset. It’s marked as a Legend, which typically signals foundational deck pieces in Riftbound’s architecture.

No rarity tier confirmed yet, but as a Legend with a passive that rewards patient spell decks, it’s positioned to be highly playable.
