SEGMENT EPISODE! This week I give my Danger Mouse Review, we list our Top 5 “Cartoons Based on R-Rated Movies,” talk about the animation news of the week in depth and the rest get put in the audience favorite Rapid Fire! segment (this time with a time limit). We also talk about our recent animated short, some of the easter eggs in there and I give you some tips on best practices in Adobe Flash as well as character turnarounds.

Listen for Stephen’s comparison of Michael Bay’s “Transformers” franchise to Donald Trumps 2016 presidential campaign, a GI Joe / Muppet Babies theme mashup, and “leeches, bro.”

Richard Williams’ is continuing his boundary pushing pursuits in hand-drawn animation with “Prologue,” Moonbot shows how to make a perfect teaser, Danger Mouse is coming to the CBBC and Netflix… and since this is Pat’s penultimate episode as a regular co-host on the show we surprise him with a countdown of his 5 most memorable moments as submitted by you listeners! San Diego Comic Con trailer & news roundup!

Comic Con was this weekend and we try to cover the MANY stories that came from that: trailers, movie/series announcements, crossover comics, etc. Not to mention the stories that came out during the week not linked to the event like Harry Shearer coming back to “The Simpsons.” I’m also still on the road, so I’ve left Rob back in NY for a trip out to the IL where I am recording with Pat in his house… or as Rob like’s to call it, “The Ryan’s Den!” It’s a pretty energetic episode this week so enjoy the excitement — I hope it’s contagious.
