Have You Ever Dreamt Of A Conical Earth? Randy Scott Slavin’s Brain Warping Circular Panoramic Photos

Director/Surrealist Photographer Randy Scott Slavin has two series of photos titled Alternative Perspectives ( 1 & 2 ) which in most instances distort the world as we know it into a bizarrely twisted warped reality where the earth is curled into a loop, and the sky is viewed just through a small porthole.

The more of these images you view, the more they make your brain work.  Trying to wrap your head around the idea of navigating these tubular worlds is a trip.  Even though most of them were taken in the United States, they couldn’t be more alien.

Artiholics caught up with Randy and asked him to pick a selection of his favorite circular panoramas in the series.  Here are the 14 images he chose (click on images to view larger):

These are pretty incredible. I am going to have to come back and look at them a bit more. Thank you for posting! My favorites are the first with the tree and the beach.
