Burn All Crayons: Greg Haberny’s Crayola Nightmare @ Lyons Wier

headerNEW YORK CITY – Wednesday, September 11, 2013

As the NYC Fall art season rolls in with a tidal wave of gallery openings I managed to make it over to Chelsea’s Lyons Wier Gallery for the debut of Greg Haberny’s new body of work Burn All Crayons.

I first met Greg Haberny some years back at Fountain, and every time I’ve seen his showings, his work never disappoints.  If you like seeing work that is the exact opposite of polished, has a sense of humor to it, and looks like it was made by hand (to the point of near destruction) then this is a show you really should check out sometime this month.  The show runs September 6, 2013 – October 6, 2013

The ceiling was studded with no. 2’s.
