A-Z Next Level Crayon Sculpting

New York, NY – Thursday, June 20, 2013

Miniature art is impressive, especially when it involves objects you can easily identify or have handled first hand.  Seattle artist Diem Chau carved the alphabet, as well as corresponding animals who’s first letters begin with the letters of the alphabet out of what appears to be a 64 pack of Crayola.  Rather than clay, rock, or bronze, her sculpting medium crayons and graphite pencils.

Zebra is a cheat, where did you get the black?  C’mon!  Oh, and the Z is backwards.

This should be her theme song… never realized how much of that song is instrumental…

To see more of her A-Z series, check out her Flickr and you can read her blog.
